Born and raised in Jackson, Michigan, Dr. Currier is the medical director at Northern Eye. He is a licensed physician and surgeon, and a Fellow of the Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology and Otorhinolaryngology. Dr. Currier was trained at FOH in ophthalmic surgery including time at St. Vincent's Hospital-Toledo (retina), Bon Secours-Detroit (retina), Children's Hospital Detroit (pediatric ophthalmology), University of Texas-Houston (basic science in ophthalmology), as well as Illinois Ear and Eye Infirmary-Chicago (cornea).
A board certified ophthalmologist, he is a member of the Michigan Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, Ophthalmological Society, the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the American Osteopathic Association.
